    Researching and developing sustainably produced plant-based inks and earth pigment paints from locally gathered materials.

    Managing day-to-day running of artist-led business: budgeting, website, social media, marketing, networking, practice research, ethical business practice development  and event management. 

    Handmaking small batches of inks and artworks for events, markets and stockists.

    Featured in Dark Mountain Journal, Simple Things Magazine and Ernest Journal

    Regular writing via Substack newsletter to 400+ audience to share practice.

    Devising and facilitating online and in-person seasonal writing, ink and paint making workshops. (Embercombe, Devon. Green Scythe Fair, Somerset. Dove Studios, Somerset. Buddhafield, Somerset. Engine Room, Bristol.)

    2023. Date Nature film participant and artist panel contributor for A Queer Date with Nature community event.

    2015 - Present. Buddhafield Charity volunteer. Member of Inclusivity team, Land and Social Change area at annual festival, creative team contributor, retreat support crew assisting the annual running of land-based Buddhist charity events.

    2022. Love and Lost installation at Dove Studios Somerset Art Weeks exhibition.

    2021 - 2022 Christie Animas ‘Fool Camp’ assistant. Devon. Supporting the running of 2 week long play and process-work camps with facilitator team.

    2019. Artist Residency. Part of week long group residency at Dove Studios, Somerset. Creating site-sensitive installation with found earth pigments and collaborative film in response to ‘Start By Not Knowing’. Exhibited as part of Somerset Art Weeks 2019.

    2018. Workshop Tutor. BEEF Studios, Bristol. Researched, devised and ran ‘Walk Like A River’ walking and mapping workshop.

    May 2018 - May 2019. Wild Edges site-specific project. Street, Somerset. Assistant and co-artist to Melanie Thompson generating writing, performance, film and installation material for community orchard event. 

    2018. Workshop Tutor. Dove Studios, Devon. Devised and facilitated experimental writing weekend ‘The Handwritten Word’. 

    2018. Art Group Tutor. Facilitated 13 week ‘The Artist’s Way’ course.

    2017. ‘Found Art’ Children’s workshop. The Globe. Hay on Wye. 

    2017. Art Tutor. Collaborating with Hay on Wye Book Art Trail and local primary school to facilitate the creation of student art installation.

    2015 - 2017 Traditional Signwriter. Completing commercial and private commissions following training with Christina Watson in Hay on Wye.

    2015. Artist Assistant. Supporting Melanie Thompson on site-responsive residential project in Mols and Aarhus, Denmark. 

    2014 - 2015. Solo Artist. 3 Fairfield Road, Bristol. ‘Unraveled By Hand’- A 3-month site-responsive installation project in my neighbour’s home using found objects exploring theme of sense-making after abrupt change.

    2014. Short film ‘one mot’. Completed as part of Intro to Digitial Video course at Chapter Arts centre.

    2012. Solo Artist. Easton Arts Trail, Bristol. ‘28 Days Notice’ home-based installation exploring repetitive acts of noticing and making. 

    2010 - 2011. Awarded place on Engage’s ‘Watch This Space 7’ Gallery education programme. Working in collaboration with Arnolfini, Bristol and local secondary school to create curriculum focused sessions for A- Level Art Students. 

    2009 - 2010. Artist Educator. Arnolfini Art Centre. Bristol. Devising and delivery gallery based education for schools in relationship with visiting artists and staff team. Producing educational material for exhibitions.

    2009. Community Arts Tutor. Inside Out. Caerphilly, South Wales. Devising and running community based art workshops and gallery visits for people receiving mental health support in local area.

    Developing National Lottery funded community interest company project with lead artists, held at central Bristol repurposed shop-space hub.

    Devising and facilitating arts and mental health workshops and courses in community settings for adults: GP health referrals, students, prison leavers, those in addiction recovery, sheltered housing and sex workers.

    Developing partnership links with third and public sector organisations, staff and clients and managing day to day running of CIC.
